Sunday Services include Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. and Vespers at 5:00 p.m.
Sunday School classes for all ages and for many different interests. Classes meet at 10:00 a.m.
The Chancel Choir is an integral part of our worship. Their weekly anthems prepare you for worship and their seasonal cantatas are enjoyed by the entire community.
FUMC offers a comprehensive after-school program. For information, contact Barbara Ann Rowe at 369-4348 or Kathy Box at 369-2218.
First United Methodist sponsors a scouting program to give our young men a direction in life and to help mold them into responsible adults. For information, contact Frank Herndon at 369-6392.
The United Methodist Women offer Bible study through church circles, sponsor a college scholarship, provide for the parsonage and support missionary projects. Circle I meets 9:30 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month; Circle II meets at 7:00 p.m. on the Second Tuesday of each month. Both circles meet at the church.
The United Methodist Men organization has a breakfast meeting complete with program on the third Sunday of each month. They sponsor the local Boy Scout Troop 39. For information, call Jim Box aat 369-2218.
Lenten Activities - Church-sponsored Lenten lunches have become a tradition for First United Methodist. Lenten Luncheons are held at 12-noon every Wednesday during Lent, featuring a meal followed by a Lenten message.
 

A fully staffed nursery for the babies and children is
 available for virtually all services and programs of the church.
